Nicole has over a decade's worth of experience connecting the dots and forming coalitions as a prevention specialist in Eastern Montana and current Workforce Development Coordinator.
Karen Sylvester, Vice President

Karen was a CPS in Wyoming for 18 years before moving to the Billings area to continue leading and forging community prevention partnerships. She is eager to be Montana's first reciprocity candidate!
Cassie Devries, Secretary, Pondera County (Conrad)
Serves as the Pondera County Prevention Specialist (Conrad), the Tobacco Education Specialist, and recently appointed as the DUI Task Force Coordinator. She has worked in the Pondera County Health Department in prevention for three years and is looking forward to becoming a Certified Prevention Specialist.
Peg Shea, Treasurer,
Retired Prevention Contractor (Missoula)
Peg is the retired owner of Riverfront Professionals with decades of experience in prevention, ACEs Master Trainer, Meth Project coordinator, and a former executive at Western Montana Mental Health.
Kerry Pride, MT DPHHS/PHSD (Helena)
Kerry is the Public Health Systems Support Unit Supervisor for DPHHS, providing support for local and tribal health departments in completing community health assessments, CHIPS, and strategic plans.
Misha Pete, Rocky Boy
Misha J. Pete is a Diné (Navajo) prevention professional from the Tsi'naajíní (Black Streak Wood People) clan, born for the Kiyaa'áaní (Towering House) clan. For the past 15 years, she has worked in close partnership with the Chippewa Cree Tribe of Rocky Boy, Montana—building trusted relationships and delivering prevention services grounded in cultural respect and community engagement. She currently serves as the Program Manager for the Rocky Boy Health Center’s P4 Prescription Produce Pilot Program.
Darla Tyler-McSherry,
Yellowstone
Darla is the founder of the Ask in Earnest suicide prevention initiative which increases awareness and coordinates efforts to prevent suicide in the farm and ranch community. She works on the Yellowstone County DUI Task Force and serves on the Suicide Prevention Coalition of Yellowstone Valley.
Emily Weiler, Board Administrator
Emily is a long time Missoula resident with a long history in environmental Public Health. She currently works for the Rocky Mountain Public Health Training Center (Denver, CO), and is also an EMT and the state's only certified pollen counter.
